More fleets are trying to safeguard their vehicles against wheel theft with a surge in inquiries for TruckProtect's innovative Wheel Stop-It! anti-theft wheel nut.
The coded nut can't be removed by anything other than the fastener socket which bears the matching code.
Russell Fowler of manufacturer TruckProtect says "No two are ever the same. The device is suitable for bolts or wheel studs, and for either steel or aluminium rims.
"It can be used on a wide range of vehicles, including trucks, trailers, farming implements, forklift trucks and mining industry vehicles. And for all too many of these, wheel theft seems to be a growing problem."
